• Each SensorRAE Station holds up to four EC sensors; multiple stations can keep a complete selection of EC sensors ready to go. (A Hazmat responder may require more than the standard four sensors in his multigas detector when he enters a dangerous environment.)
• When a specific EC sensor is needed, simply take it out of the SensorRAE Station and insert it into the RAE Systems detector. The sensor itself will automatically load standard alarm points and calibration data into the detector. Reassemble the detector, turn it on, calibrate the sensor, and it’s ready to operate.
• The SensorRAE Station is suitable for both low-bias and high-bias sensors.
• It will run for at least 12 months on four AAA alkaline batteries.
• Housed in a rugged waterproof Pelican™ case that is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket.
• Works with MultiRAE Plus, MultiRAE IR, AreaRAE, SentryRAE, VRAE, QRAE Plus, and IAQRAE.
• Warning: For greatest safety and optimal performance, it is strongly recommended that a sensor be calibrated with its corresponding gas anytime it is moved from the SensorRAE to a RAE Systems detector.
